[b]What is your best quality? My best quality is my collective mindset during stressful situations. I am able to rationally and logically think about a situation before reacting to the situation. This will assist me in keeping staff related duties for staff related issues only. [/b]
[b]What is your worst quality? My worst quality is my preference to be a strict interpreter of the rules, procedures, and/or guidelines set forth for my duty. Some people do not take kindly to such strict interpretation to guidelines; however, it serves the server's interest to be this way. Therefore, I would only intervene in a situation that warrants a staff member to do their job. I.E.: breaking up a verbal or chat fight in the server when it starts becoming a moderate issue and affecting the server's image to other players on the server or to the players attempting to immerse themselves in Imperial role-play.[/b]
[b]What separates you from any other Joe applying for Staff? I can garnish my excellent skills as a communicator, problem solver, and coordinator for the other staff that serve Protocol Aura. I enjoy organizing files, keeping things in check, and overseeing issues that may arise between any level of player (including staff members). I have enjoyed witnessing this excellent server prosper and grow as time continues forward and I would personally love to do more to volunteer my time to continue such positive progress on every level that I can.[/b]

[b]You and your best friend just received Moderator, during your first day you see your friend already abusing his powers, what do you do?
I would document any evidence I could about the situation and report all evidence to a more seasoned staff member for advice/orders. Then, after learning from experience, I would be able to handle future situations of abuse with non-bias and correct procedure.[/b]
[b]A player asks you a question about donations, how do you respond?[/b]
I would direct them to Boo or the highest ranking member that I know of and ask them to personally message them about inquiries for donation.
[b]In the middle of the day, a confrontation breaks out between to large regiments and their Commanders, it does not look like it will be ending anytime soon, what do you do?
If the situation is mild and only appears to be small arguments that can be solved in-character, then I would not interfere with the role-play. If the arguments or confrontation results in moderate dissent or escalates to random death match (RDM), then I would step in as a staff member and start issuing warnings for all players involved in the situation. If the situation still continues after the warning to each player, all players that are still continuing with the situation will be dealt with by staff procedure (kick/mute/another warning all depending on the situation at hand).[/b]
[b]An argument starts between two people in OOC chat, what do you do? [/b]
I would tell all parties involved to kindly stop arguing and to take the argument into a private communication if needed. If players do not cease arguing, then I would simply warn them and tell them not to argue anymore. If they continue past the second warning, then all parties continuing past second warning would receive a mute from me for a short amount of time.
[b]It is apparent that you have some bad blood between yourself and another Staff Member, what do you do to resolve it?
I would attempt to privately message the other staff member and apologize for the situation that created friction between the parties involved, no matter where the fault originated from. Then, I would politely ask to discuss how the situation can be resolved so that all parties involved can interpret, learn, and move on from the situation.[/b]
[b]During an event, a donator abuses their VIP rank as an Event Character by killing troopers at spawn, what do you do?
I would give them a warning and tell them that killing players at their spawn point is an abuse of power. If there is a procedure in place in the staff guidelines to punish this type of abuse further past the initial warning if the person violates again, then I would escalate to that procedure and deal with the abuse again with staff powers.[/b]
[b]Any additional comments? I would love the opportunity to learn and assist as a staff member of the Protocol Aura server. This community is the only gmod community server that I would ever volunteer my time towards.
